Attorney Dondzila specializes in litigation matters across many areas of the law. He has represented both large corporations and individuals in commercial, business, insurance, real estate, personal injury, and other matters. Attorney Dondzila also has extensive experience handling complex matters involving health care law issues, including the interpretation of insurance contracts, ERISA, HIPAA, security breaches, reimbursement actions on behalf of healthcare plans, and the determination of rights and liabilities under health insurance agreements.
While maintaining a busy caseload, Attorney Dondzila is also involved in many civic engagements. He is a member of the School Board for Saint Robert Catholic School, a member of the West Michigan Federalist Society, a member of the Michigan Board of Debt Collection Practices (appointment of Governor Rick Snyder), and an elected member of the State Bar of Michigan Representative Assembly. These activities allow Attorney Dondzila to be an active member of the community in which his clients work, live, and develop their own businesses.
Before working in private practice, Attorney Dondzila previously worked as an attorney for the Michigan Court of Appeals making recommendations for the disposition of cases pending before panels of appellate judges. During law school, he was a member of the Law Review and the Moot Court Board of Advocates. Attorney Dondzila also worked for the United States Department of Justice, the Prosecuting Attorneys Association of Michigan, and for a federal judge.
