Jason Siffert focuses his areas of practice on family law, adoption, and criminal defense. While every case is different, Jason believes a pragmatic approach is always the best place to start.
Jason received his law degree from Wayne State University Law School. While in law school, he enjoyed multiple semesters on the Dean’s List and worked as a student attorney for the Free Legal Aid Clinic (FLAC) in Detroit. During his tenure with FLAC, Jason assisted clients with a variety of legal matters and volunteered his time to research and draft appellate briefs.
He is currently a member of the Indiana State Bar (inactive), the Michigan State Bar, and the Grand Rapids Bar Association.
Prior to joining our firm, Jason worked as a judicial law clerk at the 48th Circuit Court, served as a judicial law clerk for the State Employees’ Appeals Commission and represented clients in district and circuit courts with a firm in the Kalamazoo area.
With a mind on equal access to legal representation, Jason also takes on pro bono clients through local legal assistance programs.
Jason and his wife live in Kent County with their two dogs. When not in the office, he can be found wakeboarding, mountain biking, or carving up a ski slope.
